Global energy management and automation specialist Schneider Electric has launched Facility Insights, a new cloud based solution and managed services offer that allows facility managers and building owners to analyse and manage their facility’s data, with the help of Schneider Electric’s certified EcoXperts.
Designed to make operations more efficient for the entire lifespan of a building solution, Facility Insights can optimise energy consumption and spending and help occupants manage their operating expenses more effectively. This innovative solution uses simple dashboards and can display energy usage for specific building areas, providing you with reports and in-depth analysis of the building’s performance, as well as recommendations on ways to improve energy usage.

There are three levels of service available, ranging from ‘View’ with simple dashboards and monthly performance reports, through to ‘Improve’ which details in a monthly performance report, action items to enhance maintenance and energy management, including recommendations and action plans.
A localised feature for the Australian market is the NABERS widget which ensures a building’s performance is tracked and benchmarked against other surrounding buildings.
