Rainwater harvesting systems manufacturer Tankworks Australia has joined building products manufacturer Kingspan Group to create an enlarged company focused on delivering the Australasian market with stronger environmental expertise through their combined solutions.

With the agreement Kingspan is now known as Kingspan Environmental Ltd, which owns an environmental portfolio offering solutions for wastewater, rainwater management, service and telemetry, solar hot water, energy storage and renewable energy generation.

Kingspan Environmental director Stuart Heldon says the move represents a ‘very exciting time’ for the business.

“Kingspan Environmental’s ambitious growth plans and its extensive sustainable product portfolio will offer existing customers and the wider market with exceptional product choice and excellent customer service,” says Heldon.

Heldon adds that the corporate values of both businesses also made the new venture a perfect fit.

“Tankworks has always held strong environmental and people values, as does Kingspan, and that gives me great confidence that we are heading in the same direction, the right direction for a sustainable future,” Heldon says.

Kingspan environmental division managing director, Pat Freeman, echoes these sentiments, adding: “We are looking forward to offering the Australasian markets some of the best environmentally responsible and sustainable products available in the global construction industry, providing cutting edge technology for both homes and businesses.”
